So I was searching around for updated drivers for my tx2500, so naturally i went to ATI's site and downloaded the latest drivers, the package version is 10.2

however, the package wouldn't update my drivers, it would just try to install other stuff like ati customer service stuff

so i searched around and found that they had dropped support for mobile platforms in 10.x but were bringing it back in 10.3 which weren't coming out until march

luckily i found some leaked 10.3 drivers and they are amazing :)

my cpu rarely goes above 30% when watching 720p HD youtube videos, something that would easily use about 50 to 70% before.

the reason why is because 10.3 has better support for flash 10.1 beta's dxva hardware acceleration

to take advantage of this you need flash 10.1 beta 3 found here:

    http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html

and the 10.3 pre-release drivers here:

hope you enjoy this as much as i do :p

When in march is the final version coming out? I learned a long time ago not to install these pre release versions.

Did you go on ATI.com and search under mobility radeon? When I do that, the latest version is 9.9. I know you said they dropped support on 10.x but I was just wondering because you said you tried to install 10.2. Were you trying to install desktop drivers to your laptop? Does it really matter? Are they all the same?

no, i went to my specific driver section, under intergrated/motherboard>HD3200 on this page.
seems to be giving an error right now though, you can also go here
and click on intergrated/motherboard and then windows 7/vista depending on what you have.

it wouldn't be mobility radeon bc that would mean you have a discrete gpu which tx series doesn't. as far i know, the latest version that actually lets you install updated drivers is 9.12. that is here

im not sure when in march they come out, i read on anandtech that it is sometime in march but it wasn't more specific than that :/

anyway, you can always try these and uninstall them if they give you problems and downgrade to 9.12. or you could wait lol. i'm not sure if i'll be updating to the final version since these are working great for me though, if that's any indication of their stability.
