Ugh, despite my cancellation request yesterday, the MS store STILL shipped out the AVN8 I ordered online. I will likely refuse delivery since I got the one from the physical store for much less money. Just annoying they can't get their cancellation requests processed in a timely manner.

For me, that means that you asked it to sleep, but it will never wake up, and you will need to kill it (long press on /off button), then survive it (start).

The pen is a very ergonomic and precision pointing device.

Sounds like an issue that hit Clover Trail devices when the 8.1 upgrade rolled out. Check your event viewer for graphics driver crashes, could be that. Might also be worth checking for updates at the Asus site, even though it should be up to date.

That is quite a group you have defined there. It probably encompasses most of the enterprise tablet users.;)

It seems like a long way off but its really only a few weeks. As long as I know that the Note 8 is available, I can wait for the 64GB version (as long as there is no immediate temptation). Now watch the Q584 show up in the Fuji outlet in the next couple of weeks posing a real dilemma for me.

I also think the list isn't big enough. Scientists, Engineers, Lawyers, Students. BUT, I still think that doesn't encompass most people (or even most people covered by the list). It should be a big enough niche to sell a boat load of tablets though.

Actually, if you have a swipe style keyboard, like Swift or Swype it is a reasonably fast way to do text input. Alas, powers that be doesn't allow 3rd party vendors to have keyboards installed.

Hopefully Asus notices how quick it sold out and distributes it to other retailers quickly so they can capitalize. If this was on amazon I bet they would sell loads more.

    Hi Everyone, Just an FYI

I went to the Los Angeles MS Store in Century City. They don't have it in stock and restock dates are unknown.
