Skydive can be set to synchronize all files (or any subset) both locally and on the cloud.

Back to the thread, with a brand new Asus Note 8 (replacing my first one with specks of dust under the screen) - expansys were too quick and good on the replacement (although a bit pricey finally).
So this new beauty is excellent, no dust but only a bit backlight leaking in two spots (the same as the first one and the same as most of the tablets that pass to my possession).

Apart from that, I exchanged my biffed up duo 13 for a surface pro 2 (+type cover 2) and I remembered how much I loved this form factor in the past (surface pro 1, Samsung smartpc pro), so I won't ever swith to another form factor (only detachable keyboards - nothing else).
So, into the topic again.

Did I say I love Asus Note 8?
It doesn't have a white screen (the whites are a bit yellowish), it does have inaccuracy for Wacom in the corners (ok, we know that, as on any Wacom tablet that had in the past), but I really like it.
I have waited for this 8 incher to come with Wacom, after buying (and selling slightly later) two Dell Venue Pro 8 and an encore (Toshiba), and now I am happy with the Asus Note 8, Surface pro 2 and Note 3 combo devices in my possession to serve my needs.

Only a drawback.
I can't find a good case for Asus Note 8. Only generic 8'' cases (I bought one) with 4 grips onto the corners but way too bulky and not comfort at all. I have ordered an IVTSO case (amazon.de) that seems to be ready at 10/02 but I am afraid if it has the appropriate cutout for the Wacom pen (no real pictures of this case at this point).
Furthermore, any screen protectors for our beauties at ebay (I have found only a seller with a set of ultra clear screen protectors).

I completely agree, and the case miss me too.
I ordered the one you propose. I am waiting it.
I do not know why, but this case is already available in the US.

Two open questions:
- Miracast: I ordered one dongle and waiting it
- Charging and using USB devices: I ordered the 3 cables proposed on the Dell discussion
But whatever the answers, this device is awesome.
And it will be even more if the answers will be positive.

Please Microsoft, give us back the Seven tab tip.
Or for any developer around here, if you find a hack or develop something, I will give you 30 €.

Hello Everyone,

This seems to be the place on the internet for Vivotab 8 impressions so I thought I would ask a question to the experts :)

I'm thinking of purchasing this tablet but it would be for a very specific usage: Japanese study and note taking. Right now, I use a paper notebook to jot down words, phrases, practicing writing etc...Using OneNote and the digitizer along with the tablet size it seems like it could be a perfect fit.

Any thoughts? Thank you for your time.
