    Thanks very much Mesosphere!
incidentally are those shorted cables safe to use with any charging port, like a PC USB port?

Should I jump from a 2.07 BIOS to 2.10 or flash 2.09 first?

I have two Anker batteries, a small one and big one. And both work very well with my AVN8s.

thanks thierryb, good to know! I'll probably get the 6400 mAh one, is that one of the ones you have? I don't want to add too much more weight to my bag. the avtn supposedly has 4050 mAh so I'm hoping 6400 is enough for at least 80% on my tablet and some for my phone left over after conversion losses and what not. did you also have the same shorting cable (which of course doesn't ship to Canada)?

I don't need a shorting cable for my Anker battery.

Huh. Now I'm (more) confused :) http://www.ianker.com/product/79AN7902-W2A#ptop says Compatible with Apple and Android smartphones, tablets (including the Nexus 7) and other USB-charged deveces except for the iPod nano, iPod Classic, HP TouchPad, LG G2, Asus tablets and some GPS and Bluetooth devices.

Is it that yours has more options on it that make it compatible?

My 64GB version with standard Windows 8 came with an H&S key.
