I am wondering what people have used to connect an AVTN8 to a VGA or HDMI moitor?
I have used this one :
Now I use this one:
Thanks! Why did you switch?
The second one has vga AND hdmi.
The first one has only vga.
OK, I think I'm finally going to do this. Two quick questions:
1) What are the main benefits for you of having HDMI as an option?
2) How laggy are these devices (both the VGA and HDMI adapters)?
Thanks in advance! I'll probably go VGA, unless there is some solid reason justifying the expense to go HDMI. I won't buy either, though, if the connection is laggy.
To have possibility to use VGA or HDMI with the same dongle let you the opportunity to connect to both type of screens depending of the capacity of the screen you will met.
the two dongles were not laggy at all.
If you want a simple one cable solution for a little more money, this works great on the Asus - http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&sku=470-abes
Mine just arrived today and it does indeed charge and power USB. I was only pulling about 500ma when plugged in, but as long as I am not going negative when powered on that is all I care about.
i bought this, arrived today, will either charge or access USB (keyboard, thumb drive, external drive) but not both at the same time, unless i am missing something
Does it show as not charging or shows as charging, but still loses power?
it charges consistently, its just that when it charges the full size usb is then disabled, at least for me
