    That happened to me as well, I'm assuming it's a security feature in the update program.

    so was this threshold 2, and if so what did it give us and how do we get it back ?

    since this, my battery performance is about half what it was, and my rotation/lock settings are gone, nowhere to be found ...

    did you configure your brightness the same way as it was in previous release ? brightness has impact on battery performance.

    rotation/lock toggle button is in the notification bar on the right. If you have not, that could mean that the sensor was not recognized. Can you verify if the sensor is recognized ? If it is not recognized, the easiest way to make it recognized is to reinstall the soc.

    brightness at 40% as usual, unchanged

    rotation lock and a couple other buttons missing from action centre ...

    as to a reinstall, how do I get the update back ???

    Check in devices, see if the device "Invensense Sensor Collection" is gone. If so, look for Intel I2C devices and roll back the drivers.

    invensense not listed under HID, no rollback option on i2c HID device drivers under HID

    ah but invensense does show under Sensors, at latest driver level
