On a Microsoft forum, there's some evidence that a recent cumulative update fixed the bsod/freezing even for Windows 10 build 240. I didn't yet try, tho

I've done some considerable inking with palm-on-screen and haven't gotten a bsod or reset.

That is what I'm using without any problems.

Did anyone test build 10565 already? In the changelog under known issues microsoft lists bluescreens on small form devices like the dell venue 8 - wonder if that applies to the vivotab as well.

Also, do i get to chose when to upgrade to the next build version or does that happen automatically?

Last question: if i change my insider setting from the fast ring to slow ring while on build 10547, will it downgrade my windows or does it just take longer to receive the next update?

    Thanks!

It won't downgrade, just have to wait longer for the next release.

Yes, I'm happy to see you and that is a Sony Xperia in my pocket

After rebooting after installing a cumulative update, the keypad for entering the PIN won't pop up. You have to tap "accessibility" then open the on-screen keyboard and press the tiny buttons to enter your pin. This happens only after installing an update but after 20+ of these updates, I would have hoped they would have fixed this by now.
