Try forcing a driver update on the device, searching on Windows Update on the device panel.

I noticed somehow for upgraded machines, certain drivers you need to do that for it to get the actual Windows 10 version.

This is the driver I'm using:

Not easy to find it, but I succeeded.
You can search the GPS driver for the HP Stream 8
    Here is a direct link:
    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72184.exe
The installation succeeded and I have the same version as yours.
And no errors in the device manager.
Now I need to test it, but I am confident.

And I forgot to tell you, I confirm that I did not succeeded to crash the AVN8 using onenote desktop.

    Hi guys,

I can confirm that 10547 Insider version is working flawless.

Talking about GPS, anyone can use internal GPS sensor with AmiDUOS Android Emulator???

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Wait until Threshold 2 in October or November.

I'm with Toni on this, we know that it works fine under Windows 8 but problems are reported by those, including me, who run it under Windows 10.

Am I the only one who doesn't have any problem with windows 10? Seems to be working perfectly fine aside the same bugs I have on the sp3...
I would just wish I can find a way to revert it back to windows 8.1, because Edge is total crap compared to IE metro style.
(and I suspect battery life would be a lot better too)

Threshold 2 is just another month away really.

If you insist, you can try RTM, but many of us are reporting BSOD problems when using the pen, unless you upgrade to Insider 10547. Even then there are some (other) issues, as well as I heard one report saying that it didn't fix the pen issue for them.

I'm running 10547, for the most part it's okay but I still occasionally run into black screen wakeup issues, or notifications not opening. Especially when sometimes the keyboard doesn't come up for me to enter my PIN.

I read someone reporting that KB3093266 cumulative update fixed their trouble with pen in Windows 10 RTM. You may want to give it a try
