Both of my speakers work. Try going to the old Control Panel and check the speaker setting there. Tap and hold Start button, then select Control Panel, Sound, then speaker test. It might be set to 5.1 speakers or something, common problem.

Update on 10547, NO BSODing or freezing. However I'm using the stock HID driver, so inking doesn't seem to work. In OneNote App, I can write but can't change my pen settings since the pen settings wheel doesn't display. Didn't try the Desktop version yet since I didn't reinstall it after going back to 8.1.

Going to try to install the Wacom driver.

As an aside, I noticed my Windows Store apps didn't reinstall after the Preview upgrade since in the Store I set it to not automatic update. As a result the stock Asus apps (PowerDirector, YouCam, WebStorage) can't be reinstalled, they are marked not installable in the Store for some reason.

(EDIT: Stupid me, pen settings actually in the third tab now, the settings are now in the third tab instead of the pinwheel. I'm an happy camper now.)

    TL;DR

For regular people, I suggest waiting until Threshold 2 gets finalized before upgrading the VivoTab Note 8. A fix is coming for the pen and already available in Insider 10547.

Last report about 10547 version. Onenote 2013 desktop, I don´t use the app one, works fine, no BSOD, etc., after several hours of use, the same thing for XodoPdf app.
In general all is working well, only the Store app autoclose when try to update itself.
I have no installed any Wacom driver yet.

I have read somewhere here that it is due to cortana, to not have interference between the speaker and the microphone. And deactivating cortana let you get your second speaker. I did not have the issue, because I deactivated cortana immediately.

So is the palm rejection BSOD kinda officially fixed in 10547? I assume it works for you anyway

Can someone test Photoshop for pressure sensitivity in 1047? Also how about Wacom drivers? I hope they all do fine.
