Is it still loud when viewing Youtube ??

Also does the sound have any bass, I hate tinny sound.

I need decent sound as I want to use it to Listen to Audio Podcasts and don''t want to use Headphones or External Speakers, it just has to be decent, not spectacular.

    Thanks.

No. The speakers are not loud at all. They sound great with headphones. The Samsung tablets are much louder. This is one thing I hate about my 810.

On mine, the sound is so bad I think the speakers must be broken or badly mounted in production. All sound is distorted and buzzing, and you really can't hear what is being played. Have tried different drivers, but no luck.

Sounds like they are defective, take it back for a new one.

Sounds like I was not the only one with sound distortion problems. Here's the description, which I posted also in another thread:

The right speaker sounds like the wings of a bumblebee are being flapped inside the tablet, It is noticeable with sounds that have bass or are very loud in origin. It sounds like a hardware problem to me, but there's still hope it will be corrected with some driver, very small hope though.

My solution was to open the volume settings and pan the master volume to the left (correction: just lowered my right speaker volume to 0), now I have mono sound but with no distortion, sigh.

Sounds like classic symptoms of a blown speaker. Dont think a driver update will fix that.
