I'm looking at getting a new tablet for university. I'm going to be taking a lot of language classes which don't use roman characters. Particularly Chinese and Japanese. Anyone use OneNote for things besides English?

Anyone know anything about Asian language support in general for tablet note taking?

I don't have any experience with OneNote for Chinese/Japanese, but in the Tablet PC Input Panel, the Chinese characters I write are generally recognized as long as they aren't written too messily. HTH

    Cinohpa,
I use one Note to ink in Chinese regularly & the search function works great for both converted text & handwritten Simplified Chinese. Aside from being useful in meetings it is also a great way for me to practice my writing by pasting text into oneNote & handwriting below it, I find this especially useful for poems & calligraphy.
