I’d be first in line if it had Zbrush support. At this point I pretty much only hop between Clip Studio, Zbrush, and PureRef in my pc workflow. All my other “computer” stuff is just done on a phone.

Clip Studio worked great when I tried it on iOS, arguably better than my MobileStudio. At this point there’s no technical reason not to have Zbrush or an equivalent on iOS, so I’m crossing my fingers that the fabled Zbrush 5 will have a universal release.

I don't remember if you were the one to nominate PureRef for the first time in this forum, but in case it was you I wanted to thank you properly: that little utility is just too beautiful to be true.
    Life saver.

Must say I’m appalled by the pricing of the new iPad Pro and Pencil.

    2017 iPad Pro 256GB: AU$1250 Pencil: AU$120 (my purchases)

    This year: AU$1750 AU$200

I really hope people vote with their feet, don’t buy and teach Apple a lesson.

Btw is anyone convinced by rounded display corners? To me this is a step backwards. I grew up watching TVs with rounded display corners. I do not miss them.

Lately I’ve had downtime at work and I’ve been doing ZBrush tutorials on Lynda. Wonderful sculpting tools but such a dreadful UI. People say you get used to it but I find it truly awful. An iOS version of ZBrush would be a good opportunity to revamp the UI.

Raising prices is what they hope will compensate for a suspected drop in numbers of units shifted. I don't think they will be the only manufacturer doing this.

I desperately want to but i can't. I like Drawboard and trust onenote too much. If Apple notes some day gets handwriting and math recognition (including Devnagri script for hindi) then i wont take a second to buy next generation of ipad pro with a full HDR screen and Dolby atmos sound, i don't give 2 hoots about the headphone jack.

PDF Expert is pretty great on the iPad, and OneNote on the iPad is great too. I say go for it!

Interesting early conclusions on the new iPad Pro line -

For me, I would have loved a 14"-15" screen - clearly Apple have realised for the Pro name, they need to up RAM but they only took it to 6GB at a ridiculous price.

That means wait another year hoping Apple get it right next time, however if someone else offers a good and cheaper competitor on another OS, I'm not waiting.

For me the problem is that they've pushed the price into "my only computer" territory, but kept the OS in the "my second device" category.
