    Hi all

I am wondering if there is any application that could be used (after ported to eeeNote) to edit large pictures or diagrams saved in a picture format (jpeg, png, tiff)

I need to make comments on graphs saved as jpg files. The problem that I see with eeeNote is that you can sketch only on a limited size format. Also the sequence "zoom in-sketch-zooom out" is missing (you can use that to work on details.

Any idea what can be used/ported to eeeNote?

    thanks
    PF

I know Xournal has the "zoom in-sketch-zoom out" feature and does exactly what you want on my Nokia N810. I think there's been discussion about whether or not porting it is feasible, but I don't remember what the conclusion was. I'd love to see Xournal, though, and have compatibility between the Eee Note and N810.

    Hi,

a solution could be to convert the JPG to PDF and annotate this on the eeeNote. After that merge it on the PC with Free PDF Annotation Merger.
However, I do not know if the zoom capability of the Reader app is enough (400%).

In my opinion it is a big difference between what you can do in Notes (full use of WACOM capabilities) and what you can do in the PDF reader with annotations.
    I prefer WACOM capabilities

In compiled ".zip" you will find normal dvt_check script.
copy install folder + dvt_check do SD card.
    reboot device.

    Protip :
If you wish to uninstall the app you will need to change dvt_check script.
"Howto" is somewhere on this forum.
Ill add an uninstaller in the future.
