On a related note, how many tips have y'all broken by now? I'm up to 4 I think. My most efficient method for killing them is sticking the pencil in my back pocket, and then sitting down in my car. My second method is dropping it on a tile floor. I don't recall ever breaking a tip on a Wacom EMR stylus. Good thing replacement tips are 'only' $5 each.

None. I changed one because I wanted to experiment and see at which point it stopped working after sharpening the point more and more. :D

Any body expecting debut of Apple pencil2 with a finepoint 0.7 mm and different texture nibs for varying friction levels?

The thick nib and slippery glass on plastic feel is what's keeping me from Apple's take on pen computing.

If they did, even I might reconsider using my iPad Pro 10, which is gathering insane amounts of dust.

    That reminds me:

I want it to make less noise when you write
I want it to have a cap that is less easy to lose..

It's really a pretty horrible design from a usability standpoint. Looks pretty slick though.

I'm a tad nervous every time I have to charge it. Drop that cap and you'll never find it again, and here in Japan I haven't seen any spare being offered in the stores.

I finally just bought this - it actually works well without getting in the way (too much):

Moko Cap Holder and you can get some good looking third party replacements for between $5-$10

That said, I think the iPP 10.5 is headed to eBay heaven - it's gathering dust bunnies from lack of use.
