lol...well Apple does pride themselves on their products lasting for considerable levels of time.

But on the matter of the Nano...I maintain something of a tech graveyard. Like every phone, MP3 player, camera, tablet, and Laptop that has outlived its usefulness, I have still to this day stored in a dusty storage box along side the cases and cables. The only exceptions are devices that I've traded in (iPads, Surface Go, etc) Needless to say I have a ton of old iPods, the oldest being the the B&W one that had the first gen scroll wheel (2004?). But I also had the 1st, 2nd, and 4th gen Nanos. (skipped 3rd). This past summer I went thru the graveyard and decided to try seeing if any of them still worked. That 1st gen Nano and the B&W iPad did actually turn on. I couldn't play music or really use them for anything, but the chargers still worked and to a degree they still functioned, if only at the base level of powering one. But I wouldn't be surprised if some people still had functional Nanos and used them still to this day.

    So the piling on continues.

PC magazine actually reviews it and they even start by saying that it's "almost a parody". I'd argue them reviewing it is too.

Part of me does actually want to see one though there is no way I'd pay for the privilege.

The problem with mocking this is that that damn reality distortion field still SELLS such a STUPID product.

So guess, what I got from my wife, gift wrapped as a late Christmas present yesterday?

Apple's Polishing Cloth is Finally Back in Stock - MacRumors

So it was definitely given with tongue firmly in cheek. When we first dated, she was amazed and possibly a bit disturbed by my large baseball card collection

In my defense, I had been collecting them since I was 8 years old. And sadly when our daughter was born, I sold them all to help pay bills.

So now my wife gave it to me with the statement, "here's your first collectible..." So now the question is if I go all in with the collectible idea and leave it pristine, unopened... :p:D

Get a second - you KNOW you'll need one to keep that MBP 16 M1 Pro Max/32gb/2tb model you are drooling over clean and shiny.
