I only have lag on this site with my S3 and when I had it my RT. It works fine with i core(and i core based) devices.

That's funny, because I don't remember much lag in browsing, just in running big docs in Word and large spreadsheets. Of course, eMMC sucks universally...

No matter how sexy Bronsky can make this S3 look, it's just under powered for my pdf markup use. Draw board hangs quite a bit and I keep going back to my i7 Thinkpad to do my off annotations. Back to best buy this goes LOL

Strange, I would imagine that Bronsky's user case is filled with long severely annotated legal documents.

I'm working with a lot of images in my PDFs. Even when scaled down to 200dpi the s3 has a lot of laG which breaks immersion

That's an interesting, and accurate, observation. The lag I'm seeing is in web apps (Westlaw Next, this site) and in general browsing overall. Also in file activities. Office 2013 operations are ok, but Adobe Acrobat Pro shows stutters as well. This could be video related driving my 2560x1440 external monitor, but I see it on the internal screen as well.

Yet I am entering this post on an old Asus Vivotab Note 8 without lag.

I have replace my laptop and desktop 2 years now-first year with SP2 and and the second year with both SP3 and S3.
    The SP3 80% as ultrabook and 20% as a tablet and S3 50%-50% both ultrabook-tablet use.
For me these pc product(traditional laptop/desktop/ultrabook)belong to natural museum history just like dinosaurs!!

My only concern is for the OS(Windows)and hope see from MS much more balanced between desktop and tablet mode because for me 8.1 is almost perfect and I'm not willing to compromise or sacrifice from the perspective of OS.

The extreme lag episodes on this site are pretty intermittent for me. I definitely experience it on my AVN8 too occasionally.

Disabling Flash helps on this site as there tends to be video ads....
