Had mine for 2 months, no freezing.
Three months and have not frozen once at all. But I'm running a clean install of win7 ultimate since day one. It's flawless. I love this machine.
Since early or mid March, clean install on 310, no freezing or issues yet.
Yes! I started a thread about multiple freezes per day back in March when my first one arrived. I finally returned it to Amazon for a replacement. Happy to report not a single freeze since the replacement arrived May 17th. Don't put up with it! You, we, deserve better. And when the ep works as it was designed it is great.
I bought the juicy 3 year warranty so I can enjoy for a long time.
No freezes here since purchase in March.
I'd experienced touch input stop responding once a while. It doesn't happen every 2 hours tho. The alt-tab button still works, so the computer is not frozen for sure. I notice that it'll come back to normal after I put it to sleep and then wake right away. I would think it is a driver issue. I am going to try other buttons next time to see rather it'll re-activate the touch input.
Yes!! I have started to have this issue as well. I have not been able to find anyone else with this kind of problem.
My touch inputs seem to cut out during the use of OneNote 2010. It may be that OneNote bugs out and during the automatic check if you are panning or inking (read: touch or pen) and cuts out touch response completely from your machine, even if you are intending to touch pan.
Now that I think of it, I will turn off the automatically detect panning/inking and see if that helps anything.
Does your issue surround a certain program or the system in general? I havent had any problems when I am just working with the filesystem in windows, or IE9.
ReflectiveLoad: It is not just OneNote, it has happened to me while I was using some other programs as well. That's what lead me to believe it is a driver issue.
Sounds like their might be two different issues discussed here:
1. A true total hardware lockup (get it repaired) and
2. A Pen and Touch freeze software issue - ( see http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/ep121-slate/42912-pen-touch-stop-responding.html#post244310 ).
