Anyone else wish Lenovo would release a TPY in 10.8"-11.6" size?

Fender (who got the first Vaio Canvas I know of on the forum) swears by that Panasonic, even tho it's Ntrig. If it's a Panasonic you can bet it's :

    1) super high quality and durability - better (often by far) than TPs - or any business class machine made

    2) Priced accordingly!

    3) usually amazingly light and full featured, plus, see #2, above

Should've added Wacom, I'd buy it if it had an active digitizer.

Is Ntrig not considered active because the pen needs electricity to map to pixels? Just curious. Seems to me that if they keep improving Nt (many note takers say it's already good enough) it will have an edge over "active" digitizers because the extra screen layer adds weight and cost (far more than a AAAA battery) to the screen and perhaps impairs image quality a bit (not sure on that last one, but the first two are furreal.

I had the impression that there was, but have now researched it thoroughly and - hard to figure why, but they don't seem to have any digitizer option on this model. I can't see a reason why it would be infeasible - economically or physically - and the vast majority of their laptops have active digitizers.

You might want to send Fender P a PM to see if there is an obscure model that is similar and has a digitizer, as he is quite the conniseur of ultra high end Japanese computers that are penabled.

    The quest continues!!
