Cityman and Talkman just received a major price cut.

$449 for the Lumia 950XL, $399 for the 950. Plus you get a free USB-C display dock into the bargain with either, 'valued at' $99. Pretty good deal for pretty good phones.

Other than no warranty, are there significant issues with getting an international version of the 950 XL? Seeing some aggressively priced.

Considering it's windows, I'd say no. I have a Dutch phone, and everything is in English (by choice). As far as I can see, all versions get their updates at the same time, no provider sauce poured over it (it's Windows 10, it's running the exact same version as my Windows 10 tablets).

Thanks. I ordered a used one off E-bay last night. Hey, don't have a warranty than no use buying a new one. Got one pretty cheap as it is stuck on the bitlocker screen. So now I get to deal with T-mobile with converting to a nanosim and a potential loss of wifi calling. But I'm determined to get the SD card encrypted. I've been walking around with my current phone with all my data on it. I actually back up my computer to my phone. Sorry Microsoft, Google, and others, I don't use the cloud.

As I suspected, easy as pie to fix the phone using "device recovery tool"

T-mobile was great with getting the SIM swapped ($20). The new cards have all three sizes that allow one to snap out the right card. Keep the pieces and you can go backwards without needing an adapter.

I have a list of things I like with 10 mobile. But have a similar sized list with things I've lost or don't like. But for the most part, I like the switch. I can live without some of the things I've lost. The 950 XL is a nice phone. Glad I waited to get it half priced.

double tap and glance both work now on Win 10 mobile with the 950 XL. in addition, one can double tap the action bar to turn the screen off.
