So, I have two Windows 10 machines. One that is just basic Windows 10 (client) and one that is Windows 10 Pro (host). I've set the host up so that it has a password protected user and the firewall allows remote users. I have the local IPv4 Address. I put that into the RDC on my client PC and it brings up the prompt for user name and password. I put the host user name and password in, but nothing happens. Anybody got any ideas on what could be the problem?

Not sure if this is going to help, but I had the same issue on my surface pro 3 when I upgraded to windows10. I could not log on via a browser or a variety of RDP clients. In the end I found a RDP beta for Windows 10 in the windows store which worked and have been using that successfully since.
