Have to say it, the devices are not reliable enough for real work. I couldn't imagine a surface being my work computer for example, it would drive me nuts.

That being said, about a year into my SP4 ownership, i was satisfied and still am. The wifi is pretty bad, and the bt does some semi random things, but nothing that would make me advise people to not buy it.

The new surface computer though, trash. Terrible. Seems like MS has no quality control what-so-ever. I returned mine after 5 exchanges and would never recommend it.

I'm having a hard time following your thoughts... its terrible, its awesome, its terrible??? which is it?

My experience with nSP has been awesome for almost 3 months... hopefully it will continue. The CR recommendation pertained to the older models, so doesn't really apply.

The Surface Pro 4 is okay, didn't say anything surface was awesome, but the new surface pro hasn't been good at all in my experience. Again, backlight bleed and pen issues. Maybe youre lucky, i havent been the only one with these issues

I know other people have reported issues, but in my experience this machine has been amazing for my use.

I had the Surface complete warranty, so I only paid $50 for a replacement device at my local MS store.
