A post on the Windows Experience Blog says, in part:

Introducing Microsoft Edge for iOS/Android and Microsoft Launcher for Android, two apps designed to make it easy to move what you’re working on between your phone and PC.

Microsoft Edge for iOS and Android

Microsoft Edge for iOS and Android brings familiar features like your Favorites, Reading List, New Tab Page and Reading View across your PC and phone, so, no matter the device, your browsing goes with you. But what makes Microsoft Edge really stand out is the ability to continue on your PC, which enables you to immediately open the page you’re looking at right on your PC—or save it to work on later.

Some features—like roaming passwords and support for iPads/Android tablets—aren’t available at preview launch but will come in the future.

iOS users can test the preview app via Apple TestFlight; Go here to sign up to test the Microsoft Edge for iOS preview app. Those wanting to test the Microsoft Edge Preview for Android should go here to download the preview app.

    Microsoft Launcher for Android

Android phones have a feature that iPhones don’t – they allow customization of the “launcher” that’s displayed when you push the phone’s home button. How nice! Today, we are also launching a preview release of our new Microsoft Launcher for Android. We think it’s the most beautiful (based on Fluent design), customizable, powerful launcher available. With Microsoft Launcher, your recent photos, documents and more can all Continue on PC as well.

And – just like on Windows 10 – with Microsoft Launcher you can put icons of your favorite people right on the home screen so they’re quickly and easily available.

The Feed: Info at your Fingertips. With just a quick swipe-to-the-right, Microsoft Launcher offers a tailored feed of your important events, top news, recent activities, favorite people and most frequently used apps.

Beautiful and customizable. Launcher has wide-ranging ways to let you personalize your phone, it’s easy to set colors of backgrounds—and our new ‘gesture’ support will let even hard-core customizers create the environment that makes them most productive.

Continue on PC. And of course, Microsoft Launcher has been designed to make it easy for you to seamlessly continue what you’re working on – whether it’s photos, documents and more—on your PC.

Go here to access the Microsoft Launcher preview.

They should get Edge on Windows to work much better before they start releasing it on other platforms. My Edge takes four second to react to a click when I watch YouTube videos on full screen and the payback has plenty of food frames and lag. There are several sites that doesn't render well and at times a sure will be enlarged or finished compared to the last time I accessed it.

Definitely. When I start Edge, go to Amazon.com and start typing in the product search box, the letters slooowly appear seconds after I type them. That's a little embarrassing. In uninstalled all extensions (OK, all 1 of them) and it's the same. And yet, I'm going to give it a try on iOS, curious if there are any improvements to be had.

On a related note, I have vowed to never ever use Chrome on iOS again, because the last time I installed it and signed in, it synced a jumble of old bookmarks right back into my Chrome desktop install. What a mess. Wait, I'm becoming a cranky ole' forum member, what's happening!

If I were in your shoes I'd blame it on Dale and Bronsky, or as I believe they are now better known as Mary Ann and Gilligan.

At least his avatar is. Or looks like it, but I don't really know, I've just had a crash course in Gilligan's Island.

I have only vague memories of watching both the tv serie and the cartoon in the very early stages of my life.
Can't even remember if I preferred the brunette or the redhead when I was a child. :D

So it was broadcast in Italy, interesting. As far as I know it was never shown in any of the Nordic countries, wonder about Germany and France.

    OMG!
Lumia was a disaster for microsoft.
A PC focus manufacturer must not get into Smartphones.

And I fear Google may not be succesful with pixelbook even with possibly a good AES Stylus!
    Chrome OS is too limited.

Anyways I hope microsoft will find some success on phones with its new strategy on android and iOS !But Microsoft better start focussing fixing bugs on its own OS first before extending services and apps to other platforms.

Microsoft needs Steve Jobs for this to happen in incarnation!

I heard similar complaints about using IOS 11 UI.
