Alternate Tips for the Apple Pencil

It it does come out I might give it a try. I already have a paper-like screen protector on my iPad Pro, not sure how well those tips will mix, but I wasn't a fan of the default pencil-on-iPad feeling, and while the paper screen protector is better, its still not to my liking. Ideally I would love if one of those nibs could replicate the roller-ball feel certain Wacom EMR pens have had over the years, but I doubt that could be accomplished with just a silicon tip.

 

I've been using a silicone tip cover, but as the Indiegogo campaign accurately shows, the tip cover frequently pops off. I always lose them before they ever come close to wearing out!

Needless to say, I'll probably end up trying these nibs too....

 

$17 a tip? Seems a bit steep. But then again, it's Apple. The pen noise and feel were my only two gripes.
