they say that the speaker is bad. Only one speaker on the left. Sound has distortions.
They say that with headsets it could be good.

One speaker on a €2000 machine? Acer can keep it collecting dust for me.

Meh I prefer other tech like egpu and such vs fancy speakers. People said the surface book had bad speakers and I don't mind them one bit. When I want good sound I listen over headset.

The Surface Family has pretty good speakers.
Between pretty good and indecent (and a single one will surely be that way) there's a huge difference. More so if you consider this stands in the price range of premium devices.

If the review is correct it also has a lower quality display and it all begins to feel like a nonsense for all that money.

Agreed. They blew it. Assumed performance numbers would push it across the finish line.

The TB3 docks I've used with the Dell XPS and Spectre x360 are great - dual screens, speedy data throughput, charging while operating, multiple peripherals, ALL without slow down...that's the promise (and actuality) of TB3.

It could just be poorly / not factory calibrated. It is possible that it's a decent screen after calibration. I'd like to see a review from a site that tests this before making up my mind.

I can hardly imagine that they only put in one speaker. I clearly see speaker grills on the left and right side of the screen. Maybe they got a faulty unit?
In this video the speakers on booth sides are also mentioned (@5:08):

@stormi yep, seems strange to me too.
Also strange to me is the fact I haven't seen a single video of it this 2018 CES yet, even if the other Acer computers have all been already presented.
    What's going on?

    Doesn’t CES technically start tomorrow?

Also, regarding the speakers, Acer’s website says the Switch 7 has 2 speakers.
