@Omazic.iv - Although I'm not a Cook fan ("refrigerator and toaster" - iPhone X is "value priced") he has created a more open and responsive atmosphere at Apple (well, a little bit anyway).

To get back on topic a bit ... have you already seen benchmarks of the new processor, which will be in the Switch 7?

I just read a test from Computerbase (German site) and the results look very promising.
Even if you can't read german, you can check the bars here:
    https://www.computerbase.de/2017-09/core-i7-8550u-i5-8250u-test-kaby-lake-refresh-meilenstein/2/
(Also click on the "+54 Einträge" button.)

In Cinebench R15 Multicore Test it provides almost the same performance as a Core i5-6600K desktop CPU! :)

Of course, we still have to see, how good the cooling of the Switch 7 really is, but the CPU seems to be perfect.
It's also about 70% faster than the i7-7500U, while still only eating 15W power!

 this is too good to be true

Why does every bit of news about this thing sound so tantalizing! I just need confirmation that i can use the fancy more ergonomic wacom stylus's with it, and that it won't turn into a furnace under load lol. When will they start taking preorders! :D

dont worry, you can buy some of these and just put them on the back of the case

But really though, If all the hypes are true and the only drawback is the thermal, I might (seriously) consider putting those on the back with 5V fan

Battery may be a real concern - saw this at Pocket-Lint:

"The only thing that should concern is battery life. With so much power and ability - from processor to discrete graphics and power-hungry features such as the high-res screen - we suspect the Black Edition won't last long per charge. In its idle state behind closed doors at IFA 2017 - the largest European consumer tech show - it was showing 21% battery remaining with 51 minutes of life on the clock (that's sub-4hrs without ever asking the system to do anything but show a Windows 10 desktop background)."

@Cheezzypoo - my German is a little rusty, but I would say that affirms TB3...
