Currently my C312 has the default 2x256Mb sticks of RAM onboard.

I'm planning on adding a stick of 1Gb RAM to my C312 to take the total up to 1.25Gb.

I was looking through my user manual trying to find some info on what RAM to use when I noticed it mentions that Dual Channel RAM is supported.

I had not noticed that current default RAM ran in dual channel mode.

Can someone confirm this for me?

If it does indeed run in dual channel mode would I be better off buying 2x512MB sticks for around the same price??

I have head that accessing the second RAM slot under the keyboard is a bit painfull. Can someone who has successfully attempted this let me know how difficult this is??

    thanks,

It is dual channel I believe, but no, more RAM is better than less RAM, even if it's dual channel.

I believe that the Sonoma cores (what the c310 series uses) are indeed dual channel, with a bus that goes to 533.
