About Viliv Warranty

    So my viliv s5 seems to have developed a hardware issue.
    It froze, then I got a BSOD about the ATA device.
    Anyway, I called Viliv and it took about 4 calls before I got an RMA number emailed to me. I had to email them a scan of my newegg invoice also.

    I got an RMA number and an address in CA to send my S5 and Battery ONLY-no accessories. I had to pay to ship it there btw, it arrived on friday

    I'm making this post for other people who might need to take advantage of their warranty sometime. It isn't as convenient as Dell's warranty service.

    I just got this disappointing email.

    We have received your device, it is now on its way to Korea’s repair center, the RMA process can take anywhere from 8-12 weeks, but I will keep you updated.
