About threads and forums

Earlier today I was trying to find a thread about different browsers I read earlier, but for some reason wasn't able to find it. I checked the 'Software forum', 'Win7 forum', 'The Tablet PC Life forum' and 'Lenovo forum', but in the end I found it from the 'HP TM2' subforum. It wasn't really that surprising as TM2 is probably the most sold tablet PC, but a poll about people's browser usage shouldn't be there, I think.

There are also a lot of threads on many interesting programs and on general tablet PC usage under the TM2 forum. Not that much stuff I'd not seen earlier as it's a place I routinely check, but not all people have time to go there or check every new post through the 'New Posts' link.

Also I think there are in general too many forums, like under 'Software' there are own forums for 'Windows Vista' and '7' (and in the Vista's description it even says: "Software and OS discussion for Vista", I don't think there are that many programs only for it). They could be merged under generic Windows label.

The forum's front page could also be a little less messy if 'Electrovaya', 'LG', 'Panasonic', 'Sony' and 'TabletKiosk' forums would be moved under 'Other Brands', even combined they have just some 56 threads in them.

As different Android tablets are being released all the time now, I think it would be quite wise to make a specific 'Android' forum for them before it's too late. Also there could be an 'Apps' subforum.

I hope this doesn't sound like I'm just ranting about this forum, it's just that I really love to use my X201 tablet, and this site is one of the only places in internet where there are other people using and talking about tablet PCs. I hope that by better communication we could find more programs and ways to use our computers, make our life more enjoyable.

These were just on the first four pages in the TM2 subforum, and it's not just HP, of course same thing happens elsewhere too.

Again, just trying to help, it would be nice if this forum was a bit less scattered.
