Dynamism.com specializes in bringing some of the world'sbest technology from Japan to the United States. TheOQO which wasformerly known as the"world's lightest notebook"has been updated to run Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005! This very cool device is fully loaded with more features and functionality than you might find on many standard sized notebooks and Tablet PC's - all which weighs less than one pound!

Inaddition to being loaded with great features, the OQO 01+ is less than 5 inches long, 3.4" tall and a miniscule .9" thick. According to the manufacturer's specs., you'll score three hours of battery life as well. Like it? So do I. But to make this hot little device yours, you'll need to shell out $2,299 of your hard-earned cash. Still gonna go for it? Be sure to remember to take it out of your pocket before you throw your pants in the washer! LOL

they had the same thing two years ago with this same company but with a full version of XP. odd though because it was only a little over 1000 back then. and it was a pocket pc that ran xp so I guess that is why this one is so expensive.

    Right,

They still offer an XP version, but it's only a hundred bucks cheaper. As a Tablet PC user I don't see the point in that!

I just can't see the logic behind this. Especially at the price. If it cost around $500-700 then maybe it'd be worth it to replace my Tungsten. Even still, I think the screen is way too small to do anything other than PDA, e-mail, surfing, etc... I've gotten used to reading books on the Palm but for real work no way!

Sure - with all the eye candy turned on! Just swap out the video card with a Radeon X800! The only problem will be the 3-5minutes of battery life. LOL
