Don't know what to tell you. They are on Photobucket. I'm using Chrome browser and they show in the post. Don't have to click on them to see.

the startup does seem a bit slow....did HP ship the slate with a subpar ssd? or is it a result of the poor cpu?

My Quad Core gaming rig with OCZ Vertex 2 SSD from a cold start takes about 50 seconds to boot (half of that is BIOS stuff).

From the time you see the HP logo (0:33) to the appearnce of the start bar is about (1:18) so thats 45 seconds. Add another 7 seconds if you want to start the clock when the screen goes black.

Based on my experiance thats not that bad.

My crucial M225 boots my Acer in 30 seconds. I thought that the SSD seemed slow as well. But I have just loaded my wordprecessor (wordperfect) and it loads quite fast. I suspect there is a lot going on at boot up. I have my WP Mailer running as well and it loads instantly. I would like to run a benchmark on the SSD when I get some time.

    The wake/sleep technique is great.
