No, no no! Alibaba is the 12th biggest company in the world! They don't sell product, but act a a broker between buyers and sellers, mostly B2B but plenty of B2C. The first review in the OP is from a very reputable Youtube reviewer and the product has a lot going for it - unless you believe US intelligence reports that inside every Huawei device (especially their network equipment) is a "spy chip" for the govt of China, and as an American citizen I do not take such things lightly! Still, this is a "real deal" but I don't think Alibaba is the best way to purchase it. Soon it will probably be available on Amazon and it will probably be reviewed on notebookcheck.net.

@nnthemperor : it is flat, not curved ;)

No, AliExpress is genuine, it's the eBay or more appropriately Amazon of China, then again the ones listed there never mentioned the pen or support for it. The message I posted is from Alibaba, the wholesale site, and I did because @Kumabjorn found a list for the device at $200+

That's why I think it'll be more useful as an inkling device than the GN8 phone which is narrower and has currently edges.

Got mine! Here's the size comparison between the Note 8.0, Note 8 phone, and the Mate 20 X:

Not that much bigger than the Note 8, but the 1 cm additional width seems to really improve the note-taking utility. The pen is mid-way in size between the Note 8 S-Pen and the Surface Go pen.

After only one day of use, battery life is significantly better than the Note 8, and the speakers are clearer and louder, making speaker-phone calls much better.

Excellent! A million thanks for the comparison pics. Does it have curved screen at the edges like the GN8? I sure hope it's flat to allow for inking very close to the edge

If the M-Pen is truly Wacom AES, what other pens would/may be compatible? I'd like to find an alternative if the battery life is not adequate.
