    Hi all

the 3.09 bios update definately helps alleviate some of the weird wifi behaviour in VISTA 32bit ultimate, but the problem is still there. i still have some situations (i cant pinpoint the exact scenario) where the wifi doesnt pick up networks after the laptop comes out of sleep or hibernation... even though numerous networks are present

Coming out of sleep or hibernation, I try using the hardware wifi off switch and the software taskbar control to toggle the wifi, and still get no recognition of networks until I reboot

I hope that will everyones help, we can bring this problem to the awareness of Asus. As more people upgrade to Vista, they will see what I mean

Also, we still have a problem with the screen rotate button

Those are really the only two issues I have with the R1F and Vista.

We can upgrade the wifi card bios? I was under the assumption the only thing a user has control over on their laptop was the system BIOS and not peripheral systems.

Is this on the ASUS website?

Or I made the silly mistake of misreading your post.

The bios version 3.09. Not the wifi-bios.

    Sorry :D
