    Hi all,

I have a 2730p with standard warranty that was purchased in the US. I now live in Australia and can't see myself living in the US in the foreseeable future so I'm wondering if there is any reason why I shouldn't transfer the warranty to the Australian warranty. Is there any disadvantage to doing so?

    Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Your computer should be cover globally. I went to school in Australia and was covered no problem.

HP's Warranties seem to have global coverage, though I would call SMB tech support to confirm this.

Why don't you see yourself living in the US, non-permanent residence, business, politics?
