Architectural Design
I just saw this video for a really neat bit of software which is perfectly suited for the TabletPC. . .
Apex Nexus v3 - Drawing Angles - YouTube
I'm not an architect or a building designer, but I've certainly done both to a limited extent, filling napkins and such with sketches of construction ideas. This program looks really cool. I love how you can just write in the dimensions and your sketch jumps to conform. Try doing THAT on an iPad!
Anyway, I just thought that was something worth sharing. Maybe I'm being naive, but this looks like it could be really useful for some people.
I wonder if there's any way to design stuff top down like that and then export to a 3D program. . ?Fantasy/Adventure/Sci-fi Comics: www.iboxpublishing.com

Re: Architectural Design
Looks really neat. I was looking for something like this but :P free.
I'm only an amateur, and been using floorplanner Create floor plans, house plans and home plans online with Floorplanner.com for it's simplicity. But it lacks a lot when it comes to drawing in angles different from 90o, although its has a great 3d function.
