looking for 8way dpad joystick for tablet pc (win7)

hey fellow tablet users

i was wondering if anyone knows a very nice virtual joystick/ dpad emulator which works on inputs from touchscreens? preferable multitouch support and windows 7 able.

i have searched for a very long time and the best i could find was a program that allow u to create custom keyboard layout ... which really isnt that good.

i am looking for something like this:

i tried to code something similar myself but the 8way dpad code and how to handle it and deadspots and which language to use and so on became a headache. (not to mention im not really that good at coding...) im a webdesigner by profession so my specialties lies elsewhere :s

anyways just wondered if any of you guys know a alternative ... remember it has to be "onscreen", i know there are billions of emulators out there which can connect pretty much any dpad controller (ps3/xbox and alike) to the computer (ive been thro pretty much all of them hehe). it has to be software. "virtual on-screen dpad".

the main reason for this being that gaming should be enjoyable in slate mode without a keyboard (using a HP touchsmart tm2) not to mention all the other win 7 tablets that are slowly coming out. i have seen few people ask on these forums and other forums aswell without luck. its only the windows 7 ppl that are REALLY missing out on this department, we have pretty much been sitting on the sideline and fallen behind the guys with apple and android tablets.

(no im not mad bro got iphone myself, so im not anti apple or google or whatever) i just would like to use my tablet to its max if that made any sense)

i really hope there are already some good existing ones that i just havent found yet. i dont mind paying either, at this point there just really no development going on in this segment. and its really a shame, i guess all the devs are busy making stuff for everything but win7 tablet pc's :/

one other way ive thought about is installing android instead but the driver manufacture probably does not have android support. so im suck for now :O

anyways, that was my 2cents, go ahead and post links if you know any virtual onscreen dpad joystick emulator / or software.
