iPad style Virtual Keyboard
Anoyone knows if any virtual keyboard that doesn't have all those extra function keys (I only want the basics) but it's possible with a key to expand them AND at the same time to mark the keys that have just been pushed down?
I've tried a lot of keyboard designers (eg touch-it) but none of them works as the microsoft virtual keyboard on which when you press a key the key becomes white for a while. It's really useful when you type.
If it works then there is no design tool for that specific program. I've used a lot of virtual keyboards but none was good enough

Re: iPad style Virtual Keyboard
This is my huge struggle with a tablet. I love typing on a regular keyboard. I think the whole touch screen keyboard would start to get annoying after some time.

Re: iPad style Virtual Keyboard
taptype looks good but unfortunately no trial version (yet). pity the built in on-screen keyboard isn't like that nor has the "option" to become like that i.e. simple with large keys.

Re: iPad style Virtual Keyboard
I went along and purchased taptype.me and... well, I wouldn't really bother. Until a company 'replaces' the standard windows 7 on screen keyboard, It's not going to happen for me.
It's nice, with the obvious large keys, quite a few options but I'm sticking with the standard keyboard (and the other keyboard within Win7) as they can't exactly be called bad at all.
Oh well
