word processing software on Android Slate-Tablet?

I'm looking for a windows 7 cheap slate tablet just for note taking and word processing (Microsoft Office) and this is what I got:
1. Archos 9
2. Viliv S5
3. Viliv X70EX

but recently I read numerous reviews that have been said that those 3 Windows 7 slate tablet is powered by a processor which can't really made for running full windows OS.. in addition, they experienced freezes and unresponsive touch-screen

so I'm about to change side to non-windows slate tablet yet I'm new to Adroid Tablets.. does this kind of OS have a specific softwares for note taking and word processing? and.. any suggestions of worthy Android Tablet?

worthy Android tablets will come in the next month, many more will come with Android 3.0, codename Gingerbread, which fully supports tablets. Can't give you recommendation at the moment, don't know good tablets yet.

Word processing:
Always note that you will miss a physical keyboard. A huge drawback of Android is the lack of Bluetooth HID support at the moment. You have to root your device and flash a custom Android version on it, void your warranty, to get HID support.

Software:
DocumentsToGo is the best at the moment for Android.

You sure more great android tablet will be launched next month? All I heard is just Samsung Galaxy Tab on 2 sept.. Could you mention more?

Yea that's fine for word processing.. Slate tablet device are always easier to carry anywhere
Plus, it has more positions available than a notebook (even netbook)
