Question Can't pull up messages when logged in...

This must have to do with individual settings and I'm not sure how to fix it.

when I am logged in, and I click an entry to read a thread, I get a blank page (even after the page filler says "Done".)

If I log out, and try to read the first entry of a thread, it works.

And if I log in to PDA forums, it works properly. My guess is that some setting I inadvertantly set in Tablet PC Forums is causing this, but I don't know what this would be.

Thanks for any advice.

Tom

I get that on my work computer with IE on cnn.com but not on my tablet or with Firefox.

If what I think he's talking about, its when yo go to a website, here or anywhere. It won't load the first time, it will say done, but be completely blank. All you see is a blank page.

I hit refresh and it works. Never had it happen here, only CNN and a few other sites.

****Car,
That is the problem, the page saying "done" but being blank... Unfortunately, refresh isn't fixing it, Cntrl-Refresh isn't even fixing it.

I imagine it does have to do with my settings or with some cookie the system is putting in saying I've already seen it and not to show it again, because, as I said, the problem goes away if I log out and then return to the same page. (To send this reply, I had to log out, read your replies, hit post a reply, log back in... a real nuisance.

Where, Kureshii, do I go in order to set it to show messages from the last X days? I went to User CP, but couldnt find any setting there that would help.

well, mine works with refresh. Is it consistently on certain websites?

Try DL'ing the latest updates if IE, or switch to Firefox. I found I don't have the issue anymore in Firefox. or upgrade to IE7, i don't have that issue on my tablet which runs IE7.

Actually, I don't have it on my home desktop either, running IE6.

Ah my bad, misunderstood the problem... does clearing cookies and logging in again fix the problem?
