[DRIVER]ATI Catalyst 9.2/9.3 Rotation fix

SciLor's ATI Tablet PC Rotation Fix v0.5

SciLor's ATI Tablet PC Rotation Fix is a tool that enables the Tablet PC auto/button rotation feature of the ATI Catalyst Driver which is disabled by default. You can also change the direction of the rotation (Clockwise or Counterclockwise).

For example the HP Pavilion tx2000er series needs this fix, otherwise you cannot use the buttons near the screen to rotate the display orientation and you will have to change the display orientation in the driver manually if you put your device in Tablet PC mode.

You will need the .NET 3.5 Framework

Just use the complete pack and install

If you want to know what I did, just take a look at the fix only file
there is the originial and a patched (ini`?!) file

I just took a look at darkinos fixes and made a fix file for the 9.2

Ok, don´t know what the fix is all about.

My rotate scheme is working ok.

The fix itself it included in the my 9.2 pack

with my tx2650eg it didnt worked without my patches

curious, what doesn't work with rotation on the stock ATI 9.2 drivers? When I hit the rotate button, the screen rotates.... what exactly do you fix with it? Thanks

I didnt tried my rotation button, but the auto rotation of the screen didnt worked before, without the fix

What do you mean by auto rotation? Do you mean when you change the screen from normal laptop mode to tablet mode?

I just did a clean reinstall of Vista x64 and installed Catalyst 9.3. Rotation didnt work by default. However, I later installed HP quick launch buttons driver and the rotation started working as it was designed. So, for those who cant seem to get rotation working with the latest drivers, either use the rotation fix or try installing the latest version of HP QLB.
