Default HP2730P Pen Eraser Problem in Powerpoint

In presentation mode in power point the eraser tip of the pen only works if you press down on screen. However this "signals" a click and advances the slide in addition to erasing hte ink. I have tried the control panels pen setttings but there does not seem to be any way to customize the eraser button. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem with a Fujitsu Lifebook T5010. Maybe this is a general Powerpoint problem with tablet PCs.

I have the same problem with my Toshiba m400. It only happens when I have the pen tablet driver from Wacom installed. I am a teacher and I purchased a Graphire bluetooth tablet a year ago with the idea that I could have my students participate in problem solving using the external tablet. I have given up the idea because in order for the Graphire to work properly, I need the pen-tablet driver installed. But with it installed, PowerPoint has the problem indicated by the OP. I have tried all versions of Office and all versions of the pen tablet driver without success. Without this driver installed, my Toshiba works fine with PowerPoint. If anyone has any ideas to correct this, it would be much appreciated. Right now my Graphire is sitting in a box, unused.

I found a solution. I updated my Tablet PC to windows 7. With the drivers automatically installed from Windows 7 the problem went away. When I manually installed Wacom drivers it returned. I then did a system restore to undo the WACOM installation and the problem went away again.

I have the same problem with my Pavillion tx2510us... Except that I need the Wacom drivers to be able to have pen pressure in photoshop as HP has not released the correct Windows 7 drivers yet.
