Default About to retire my S7S if I can't find a BT keyboard case

I bought the S7S right when it came out for school and have been using it for my classes...

For physics... it was awesome. I comfortably took notes (with my pen) on my lap while laid back onto my seat. My notes were neat and organized in OneNote.

For the rest of my classes... it was a pain in the ass. Those small fold up tables does not fit my slate (using the Samsung Stand Case) + keyboard. I have to set my S7S on the table while typing on a BT keyboard on my lap. Although it was pretty cool that every once in a while my teacher will draw something and I could quickly jot it down with my pen... its not worth this hassle.

I need something like the keyboard + case that they have for the Galaxy Tab... if not... I think I'm going to move onto the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 when it comes out.

Does anyone feel the same way?

Damn, this desk must be tiny! Would a keyboard case really take up any less space? Stand case + bt keyboard must take up about as much room as a netbook. Have you tried the dock?

yeah, lecture halls are infamous for tables sized efficiently for quick hiding and space saving. even on a regular table, i always stick my phone with a rubber cover as a stopper behind my slate in the standing case.

my advice for those small tables is to use the dock since it's relatively sturdier. still risky though

I'm just curious - why not use OneNote in the rest of your classes? My son has been doing that for years through undergrad and grad school with great success; particularly since you can search your handwritten notes just as you do with typed notes.

Looks pretty cool, and current price is very reasonable.

    Thanks.

I agree. Just hand write your notes. It is much faster for me than typing and I am an 80wpm typer.

I can type much faster than I can right. For some classes... I just feel that its more efficient typing than writing since the Professors talk so fast. I have tried the pen and paper vs typing in these types of classes and I feel typing was better overall.
