Re: Series 7 Slate AC Adapter & Tip
Appreciate it but the Targus I have uses an entirely different design to connect the tips:
http://imagedirectory.targus.com/im/...69US_GROUP.tif
More of a squared off connector. Maybe I'll be able to use the details of the G tip to find something that fits though.
Edit: Looks like maybe the G tip fits the EP121 as well. Unfortunately, Targus says the EP121 is not compatible with my charger.Last edited by jhoff80; 10-31-2011 at 09:46 PM.

Re: Series 7 Slate AC Adapter & Tip
While it may be presumptious. How about changing chargers to the Kensington.

Re: Series 7 Slate AC Adapter & Tip
That's not going to happen, the Targus one I have is really small and thin and goes directly into the wall. The Kensington ones I've seen are all large bricks. If I'm going to carry a brick around, might as well just carry the Samsung one.

Thanks for the help though, it's appreciated.

Re: Series 7 Slate AC Adapter & Tip
In a separate thread, there's been confirmation that the dock doesn't come with a 2nd AC adapter.
Has anyone purchased a second AC adapter (including universal adapters) and confirmed it works with the S7S?
If so, please post the specific model number for the adapter (and compatible tip)...
THANKS!!!

Re: Series 7 Slate AC Adapter & Tip
Hello...
I got mine Slate at the PDC Build conference from Microsoft, it came with the bluetooth keyboard and docking station square. One power supply...
I am also looking for a replacement and may have found it, but I am unsure of the connector..
40w Samsung Liteon PA-1400-24 AC Adapter charger
Output:40w 19v 2.1a 5.5mm*3.4mm
So any help, also waiting on a tilt case nothing is available.Last edited by CodeChaser; 11-03-2011 at 06:24 PM. Reason: turn on email notification

Code: Did you read the root posting in this thread? If so, you would have seen that the dimensions of the DC plug are 3mm OD, ~1mm ID and length of 8mm.
It appears that the AC adapter that you are looking for is PA-1400-14...Last edited by Steve S; 11-03-2011 at 06:41 PM.

Re: Series 7 Slate AC Adapter & Tip
Found this according to bobp's specs:
Samsung PA-1400-14 19V 2.1A 40W 5.5mm*3.0mm Laptop AC Adapter
I went ahead and ordered one. We'll see if it works...if it comes.

Re: Series 7 Slate AC Adapter & Tip
Yea, and yes I agree it does not look like this is going to fit. The tip is really small as compared to the numerous other adapters I have laying around. I found a couple that were really close, it would go in a little, but the ID was still to big. Anyway since the tablet/slate is now being sold the adapter will be sourced by someone.
thx
