Default ritePen Pro 3.1 released

Ritescript has just released ritePen Pro 3.1 at www.ritescript.com. Main product page is http://www.ritescript.com/Products/ritePen.aspx.

New features of ritePen Pro 3.1 include:
  • Context aware recognition in forms, spreadsheets (numeric data, etc.), browsers (web addresses in the respective field) and many other apps. ritePen Pro 3.1 comes with over 50 special "lexicons" and is essentially the first attempt to offer end users what previously was available only in vertical applications - the ability to assign contexts to fields and windows for even more accurate recognition than you already have with ritePen .
  • Full-screen markup (quick drawing) and ability to send annotated clips to Evernote notebooks - see http://blog.evernote.com/2009/03/25/ritepen for details and a video.
  • Advanced ink commands (pen macros) - now you can emulate any keyboard activity in macros and call different ritePen's features using ink commands.

Other features and improvements are listed on the page http://www.ritescript.com/Products/ritePen3New.aspx: expanded punctuation panel, multiple corrections in WordMenu, "pen only input" mode aer just a few of them.

Product videos are on the page http://www.ritescript.com/Products/ritePenVideos.aspx.

We have also released ritePen 3.1 (Standard Edition), upgrade for 3.0 users is free.

We are offering a few discounts for ritePen Pro 3.1 (and ritePen 3.1 Standard Edition), including a 40% discount to registered Evernote users as explained at the end of the article http://blog.evernote.com/2009/03/25/ritepen.

We hope you will enjoy the new version of ritePen.
