    Default Wacom Volito 2 - Pen pressure, please please help :(

    First off, thanks for taking the time to read about this, its driving me up the wall!

    I have a Wacom Volito 2 Tablet, one of these little things;

    Not flashy, not particularly new or expensive, but i've never had a problem with it, good as gold. I recently joined an illustration course at college, and now i need to enable the 'pen pressure' tool.

    Now, i seem to remember something years ago when i installed it that this tablet COULD do this, i remember it going on and on about it, and thinking to myself how great it would be! But when i tried to do it myself (this was still during the installation) it didnt work...I thought nothing of it and shrugged it off.

    I have Adobe Photoshop 7.0 - Nothing else.

    So now i actually NEED, not want, NEED to have this tool for college XD, so i did all the shape dynamics - size jitter, and other dynamics - opacity jitter onto 'pen pressure' and nothing happens. I tried un plugging the cables many times and putting them into other USB ports and nothing happens. I have not uninstalled my tablet or photoshop, as i fail to see how that would make any difference? But if there's some secret in making stuff work by doing that then i'll give it a try!

    I'm completely stuck, I thought all tablets were just supposed to...You know...WORK! and do this on their own! Is there a better tablet i can buy that just does it and wont result in me having a nervous breakdown? D:

    Thanks so much for ANY input,
    ANYTHING!
    i am COMPLETELY stuck! lol

    I don't know your program as I don't have it. I would think its your software
    Photoshop 7.0 that has to be configured correctly and not the hardware, is there option anywhere to turn on pressure support? I doubt this option would be on automatically cause not everyone who uses this program has a tablet input device. Since its wacom, its probably supported as wacom brand is the brand to own (one to rule them all) if you have a tablet.

    He said he did configure Photoshop correctly to pen pressure. The problem probably is that he needs to reinstall Wacom driver. Maybe it got corrupted.

    Just reinstall Wacom driver with the latest from Wacom's site.
