No BlackBerry Playbook Section?
I noticed there is no Playbook section here. Just wondering why.

Re: No BlackBerry Playbook Section?
honestly, because there is no need for one (this forum is -as most people can see- maintaining its heavy focus on the Pen based Tablet PC's... Why? well because that is what the members here love for its capability and versatility, and the touch only 'entertainment devices' just don't cut it)
There is this section Other Mobile OS Devices which has the sub heading "Don't see the brand you want to talk about? Discuss the "other" mobile os brands or devices here." so if you feel so enclined you can get the ball rolling and see where it goes... but there is no point to creating another section if there is no real interest by majority of members (case in point the BB Playbook... sure there is tons of interest on other sites, and tons of consumers like them... but it isn't for us)
If it weren't for the EEE Note (wacom pen based) there would be almost no activity in the 'mobile tablets' section; so I think you see the pattern now of the heavy interest in pen based devices, and how that won't be changing from this 'entertainment tablet fad' that has cropped up since the ipad unless they start having active digitizer pens and good support for its useCurrent: HP 2730p Win 7 & Linux Mint | Toshiba M4 | Motion M1400 renice 120GB SSD | ITRONIX IX-325 | Motion F5 (U7500 update) | Fujitsu P1620 | T4220 w/SXGA+ 160GB Intel X18-M & 1TB HDD in bay | broken TC4400 [for experimentation] | i5 3570K mITX desktop w/GTX460 | ASUS N10j

Re: No BlackBerry Playbook Section?
I see. Well when I saw tablet PC review, I had just assumed it meant tablets, not stylus (which playbooks are compatible with) tablets only. My bad. Guess I'll find a proper tablet site.

Re: No BlackBerry Playbook Section?
Seriously, I don't think that the Playbook will be available for long judging by the staff cuts at Rim etc.
Good luck finding a 'proper' tablet site.
