Default Tablet News: ACA Digital Releases XT1100 Rugged Tablet PC, Raon Digital Unveils the Everun UMPC, SanDisk Launches 64GB Solid State Drives

ACA Digital Releases XT1100 Rugged Tablet PC

ACA Digital's rugged XT1100 Tablet PC has been cleared by the FCC, which means it will be on sale in the U.S.soon. There are many other competitors already in the rugged market, but I guess ACA Digital isn't afraid to test the waters.

The XT1100 has a 1GHz Via Eden processor, 10.4" SVGA/XGA TFT LCD, integrated WLAN, Bluetooth and GPS and up to 2GB of memory. All of this comes packed in a military compliant magnesium alloy casing, so it's ready for the outdoors. There is no word yet on pricing or availability, but you can check out ACA's website for a full spec sheet.

      SSD 32GB cost - $2999
I will wait for better price for consumers.
I think in few years this will be best for notebooks - longer battery life

Compact flash cost a lot less than that, so just buy an adaptor and stick that in.
