It's amazing because for an 8" tablet, I think it's overpriced. But when you compare it to the 10" iPad, it's the better bargain.

I just wonder how they can still sell the iPad 2 because for the same resolution, I would rather go with the smaller, lighter, more portable iPad mini.

If the rumors are true, and they do put Retina Display into the mini next year and keep it at the same price point, that will be a better buy (which is what I'm waiting for).
