    As tablets continue to grow in popularity, research firm IDC has raised its forecast for 2012, expecting shipments of the mobile devices to reach 122.3 million units, while also predicting that Apple's annual market share will drop slightly as Android gains more traction.

    An interesting article on Windows future in the new tablet market here. I have no idea if Yahoo is staffed by Apple fanboys but it certainly seems that a lot depends on the success of Windows 8 and Windows Phone vendors over the next 12 months.
