    This morning, Barnes & Noble announced a "strategic partnership" with Microsoft focused on eReading, seeking to create a new subsidiary that will spin off Barnes & Noble's digital and college business.

    B&Ns stock rushed up this morning on this news. It's an interesting move by Microsoft. With Android showing a lot of weakness in the Tablet market as lower priced models are dominating, this would seem to be a good time for Microsoft's entry with low-end media tablets.
