    The resolution will not "double", but actually quadruple.

    It's a problem with nomenclature. It called "pixel doubling" but it's really pixel quadrupling because each pixel is doubled in two dimensions.

    My plan is to get an iPad 3, and I'm pleased Apple isn't tinkering with the design too much. Sadly, I think it will be modified enough that a lot of cases and keyboards won't work with the upcoming model, but my favorite bag still will.

    although I'm fresh with a samsung series 7, I'm really disappointed in the lack of software development for windows multitouch applications. Even adobe didn't release their touch apps for windows. I think I'm going to fold and buy an ipad

    I'm not disappointed by the lack of software development as they're ALL waiting for Windows 8. Anything released now would probably be overlooked.
